The photographs represent a chain of events, the first shows the model getting ready for an event. She compares herself to a rose and wonders if she looks good enough for her date. She questions herself and wonders if she is worth love. In the second image, she stares at her reflection and is conflicted by what she sees. Is she happy with herself or is she critical of her looks? She sits for a while contemplating about her love for herself. Through her expression, we do not truly know if she loves herself or is critical of what she sees.

My concept was extremely strong and people were able to interpret the image however they wanted to. People also liked the lighting and the purple tint that was added to the photo that contributed to the "love" theme. The stying was very strong and definitely added to the story.
Grows:
People thought the star in the background is distracting as well as the rubber bands on her wrist. Next time I will remember to pay attention to the small details and the small things that can end up being big distractions.
